About Us

Mission Statement:

EnviroMetrics Instrument Rentals was established to meet a growing need within the Canadian environmental industry. From new and ongoing site assessments to remediation projects and long-term monitoring programs, environmental professionals rely on accurate, dependable instrumentation to make informed decisions in the field. Yet much of the current rental market is operated outside of Canada—often resulting in a limited understanding of Canadian regulatory requirements, project realities, and field conditions.

At EnviroMetrics, we believe reliable instrumentation must be paired with responsive, knowledgeable service. Profit-driven models should never come at the expense of support, flexibility, or technical confidence. As a trusted subcontractor and partner to environmental practitioners, we understand the complexities of the Canadian environmental industry—shifting timelines, tight project budgets, emergency mobilizations, and evolving project scopes.

It’s simple: Your instrument provider should be as reliable, adaptable, and responsive as you are.

Jason Nagasawa M.Sc.

I am very grateful to have my roots firmly within this industry as an environmental consultant.  From my start as a junior field technician, to project coordinator, and as a project manager. I have had the opportunity to understand the complexity and challenges of an environmental projects lifecycle; from proposal writing, project timelines, field program planning & execution, tight budgets, program delays and report writing.

Having been in the environmental industry for 20 years, I have seen many changes.  New environmental regulations & policies, discovery of new contaminants, changes in field practices and the adoption of new techniques & technologies. But there are aspects that still do not change.  Every environmental programs requires trusted partnerships with sub-contractors, whether it's the locators, the drillers, the labs, an abatement contractor, or an instrument provider.  Relationships in our small industry are important.

My goal is to be your trusted "go to" person, and to help support you wherever I can be of service.
